Fans who are clearly never going to be guilty of any charge should not be banned from supporting their club. | | | sunderland | innocent until proven guilty i thought? | | | Sunderland AFC | When you took over as Chairman you asked the fans to put the past actions of the club behind us and back what you were trying to do, and we did. Now we ask you in that same spirit, give us the chance to clear our names before you turn your back on the supporters of SAFC. | | | Sunderland AFC | Innocent until proven gulty Niall, it's a fundamental part of a democratic society in which we are supposed to be a part of. | | | Sunderland | | | | Sunderland | do the right thing quinny. we support you, show us some support! we did nothing wrong here | | | Sunderland | Another kick in the teeth for the 'station fans'

| | | Sporting | | | | sunderland afc | | | | Sunderland | | | | Sunderland | Dear Mr Quinn,
I wish to voice my support for the Sunderland fans unfairly banned by your club because of their alleged involvement in the Newcastle Central Station incident on 8th August.
I believe that football supporters, like any other members of society, are innocent until proven guilty and should be given the opportuity to defend themselves through the fair and proper legal process before any such ban is put in place.
I understand that it is the policy of Sunderland Association Football Club to implement these bans, and respectfully request that you, as a man who understands and values football supporters, personally intervene and overturn this policy with immediate effect. | | | Sunderland | | | | Sunderland | | | | Sunderland | Had I not been at a 50th Birthday Party it is conceivable that I could have been on that train and caught up in this whole incident. | | | sunderland | | | | Sunderland | "these are my people" Niall Quinn | | | Sunderland | | | | Sunderland | | | | Sunderland | 'innocent until proven guilty' | | | Sunderland | Quinn will not hang his fans out to dry.
Its been proved before.
All will be revealed I guess. | | | Sunderland | Police were in the wrong and these arrests are merely a tactic by NP to discredit fans | | | Sunderland Footbal Club | | | | Sunderland | | | | sunderland | | | | Sunderland | I support the fans BUT cannot bring myself to blame Niall Quinn in any way. | | | Sunderland | | | | sunderland | | | | Sunderland | I really hope this can be resolved, on behalf of football fans throughout the UK. | | | West Ham | This policy is a disgrace and does nothing but alienate fans from the game. How dare you think you the basic tenets of English justice do not apply to you? Listen to your loyal fans and not the police. | | | Sunderland AFC | | | | Sunderland | | | | Sunderland | | | | sunderland | | | | sunderland | do the right thing | | | Sunderland | Shocking what has happend to us here! | | | Stoke City ( and York City) | Innocent until proved guilty is a basic principle of justice. Football should be no different. These fans had been to an away friendly, and are therefore some of the black cats best fans ( and customers ! ) | | | SAFC | | | | Sunderland | | | | sunderland | | | | S.A.F.C | | | | Aston Villa | Life blood of any club, to ban before any guilt has been proved is just wrong. Fans are growing tired of being treated like cattle. | | | Sunderland | I wish to voice my support for all the Sunderland fans unfairly banned by OUR club. Listern to the fans, the facts and NOT Northumbria Police's "cover story" | | | Sunderland | | | | SUNDERLAND | | | | Sunderland | Please overturn the ban, Quinny - it's totally unfair. |
Don't just leave it there! you must know dozens of people who feel the same way about this as you do. Spread the word, use our sharing oprions below and tell them about the campaign. Fans are the most important people in football. We have to make sure our voice is heard.
